Profile

Dr. Zhibin Deng is now an associate professor at the School of Economics, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his PhD from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, USA, and his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. He has published more than 40 papers in several well-known journals in mathematical optimization, such as Mathematics of Operations Research, European Journal of Operations Research and Journal of Global Optimization. His research interests include mathematical optimization and its applications in finance, operations management and machine learning.
