Profile

Dr. Suwithida is currently the Southeast Asia Coordinator for ASEM Education and Research Hub for Lifelong Learning (ASEM LLL Hub). She is a professor at Lifelong Education Department, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. She holds a doctorate degree in Non-Formal Education (Adult and Lifelong Education) from Chulalongkorn University.

From 2010 until 2011, she was a research fellow in the Andragogy Doctoral Emphasis Specialty Instructional Leadership Program at Lindenwood University, U.S.A, where she completed her post-doctoral training in Education Andragogy and Learning Society Development. She has published many research and academic articles, as well as books in learning city/society/region development, lifelong learning policy, adult learning and education, and non-formal and informal education, etc.

Her most recent publications include books titled, “Concepts and Guidelines for Enhancing Lifelong Learning in Thailand” (Suwithida Charungkaittikul, 2021) and “The eight pillars of lifelong education: Thailand studies” (Cameron Richards and Suwithida Charungkaittikul, Editors, 2016).
