Dr. Sorasich Swangsilp graduated from the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University, majoring in international relations. He continued his studies with MA degrees in France in both Sciences Po Grenoble for European Studies and at Sciences Po Bordeaux for International Development and Cooperation. He completed his PhD on the localisation of global words and Thailand’s foreign policy formation and practices at the National University of Singapore. His thesis was awarded a ‘Good Dissertation’ by the National Research Council of Thailand.

Dr. Sorasich was Director of BA international programme in Social Policy and Development, Faculty of Social Administration, Thammasat University. He currently works for the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University.

Drawing on his expertise in politics and international relations, Dr. Sorasich would lead on courses with a focus on Thai foreign policy, and international development, including digitalisation and development.
