Profile

Madelyn Almazora is a Programme Management Officer and the Regional Adviser in the Subregional Office for South-East Asia of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in Bangkok, Thailand. She is involved in the design and implementation of projects and activities for economic and sustainable development for ASEAN and South-East Asian Countries. 

Prior to joining ESCAP, she was the Senior Officer for Investment at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia. She managed the negotiation and implementation of ASEAN investment agreements, including the various investment initiatives for ASEAN Member States. 

A lawyer by profession, she previously worked in the Legal Services Department of the Board of Investments of the Philippines, and the Tax Services Division of Ernst and Young, Philippines.
