Ms. Iwona Spytkowski

Ms. Iwona Spytkowski is the Head of the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in Thailand.
Iwona has eighteen years of experience with the United Nations, in an advisory role to senior UN officials as well as working across Agencies on system wide programme design and implementation. She is experienced in policy analysis, results-based management, protocol, intergovernmental processes, as well as partnership building. Previously, she served as the Head of the Resident Coordinator Offices in Papua New Guinea and Egypt. She also worked in Monitoring and Evaluation as well as change management at UNDP in New York.
Prior to joining the United Nations, Iwona worked in the private sector to verify labor rights violations in manufacturing sites in over forty countries and as an advisor to Fortune 500 companies on integrating social and environmental concerns in business operations and interactions with their stakeholders. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College, City University of New York.
